He loaned these instruments out to bands doing recreation shows, most notably to Phil Lesh & Friends at Terrapin Crossroads in 2015 and 2016.
The mutron and just Jerry's playing in general seriously feels like some sort of dialect, and that he's talking directly to the audience through his guitar. To me, he manages to instill whatever message he's trying to instill through speaking through the guitar better than words can do. Anyway, just a quick ramble I thought of on the way to work.
