Tiësto lanzó su cuarto álbum de estudio llamado Kaleidoscope en octubre de 2009. Tiësto fue el mejor DJ en 2002 según la revista DJ Mag, título que repetiría en 2003 y 2004. Desde entonces Tiësto ha quedado segundo en el ranking excepto en 2006 cuando quedó tercero, que lo repitió en 2010 y 2011.
