Hace 5 días · In a similar vein, keyboardist Charlie Stacey’s The Light Beyond Time impressed me on several levels: the compositions and arrangements are rock solid; the sounds Stacey coaxes out of his various keyboards have an alluring old-school groove-oriented vibe that calls to mind Lonnie Liston Smith and some other players from the early 70s; and this live-in-the-studio recordings sounds very live.
