The Allman Brothers Band was an American Rock Band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1969 by brothers Duane (founder, slide guitar and lead guitar) and Greg Allman (vocals, keyboards, songwriting), as well as Dickey Betts (lead guitar, vocals, songwriting), Berry Oakley (bass), Butch Trucks (drums), and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson (drums).

After the performance Dickey wanted to hear them again, and again, and finally, at about 4:30 a.m., the staff essentially threw him out of the studio, which did not sit well. Dickeybetts.com also lists this as the correct date for this session.
