    Hace 3 días · ニュー・オリンズのブルーズ・ピアニスト、プロフェッサー・ロングヘア（Professor Longhair）のベスト盤。 こちらはアトランティックの”Blues Originals”というシリーズの第2弾として1972年に発表された盤にボーナス・トラックを加えたCD。 録音は40～50年代。 ただこのアルバムが発表された70年代前半にはほとんど忘れられた存在だったそう。 ここに収録された曲も当時シングルとして発表された物ばかりらしい（リーダー・アルバムは制作されなかった模様）。 自分が彼の音楽を初めて聴いたのはいつだったか思い出せないが、何かのブルーズ・コンピレーション盤に入っていて、その変わった名前で目に留まった程度。
