Anyway, I just started reading his autobiography Into the Void and the very first chapter he describes how as a child, he awoke in bed to see a golden sphere hovering in his bedroom (a very common sight amongst NHI experiencers) and when he looked into the sphere, he was shown a man on stage with long hair and silver boots playing a guitar, and then the sphere disappeared up the fireplace.
