George Frederick Bernard Powell (15 August 1928 – 20 April 2013), credited as Nosher Powell, Freddie Powell, or Fred Powell, was an English actor, stuntman and boxer. He is best known for his work in the James Bond film series, most notably From Russia with Love (1963).

After their home was bombed during the war the family was evacuated to Swanage in Dorset where Nosher attended the Swanage Grammar School, On his return to London he took up boxing and became an occasional sparring partner for Joe Louis and later Sugar Ray Robinson, and Muhammad Ali.

Stuntman, Actor. 14 August 1928 to 19 April 2013. A former boxer and bodyguard, Powell worked as a stuntman on many movies including the early James Bond films beginning with From Russia With Love (1963). In growing demand for acting roles on film and television, he played a leading role in the Channel 4 feature Eat The Rich (1987).
