But their chops are still in top form, as evidenced by Tony Award nominations for their turns as Older Noah and Older Allie in “The Notebook.”. Harewood last graced the Broadway stage in 1978’s “The Mighty Gents.”

Hace 1 día · Maryann Plunkett will likely break your heart in “The Notebook,” but the role is perhaps too small to be singled out for a Tony. I absolutely loved Kelli O’Hara in “Days of Wine and Roses” (and was so pleased she won the Outer Critics Circle Award), but the show definitely drew a niche audience, so, again, not a likely Tony winner.
