The Trevor Rabin period is almost naturally bypassed and the 13/14 albums from 1980-2024 represented by the opening two cuts and a nod to their latest Mirror To The Sky album.

  2. Hace 7 horas · He has collaborated with Steve Howe, Clive Nolan and Gordon Giltrap and like his famous father before him, he is a former member of Strawbs and Yes. Both Oliver and Rick have the dubious distinction of being replaced in the latter by Geoff Downes even though in my humble opinion, Oliver's keyboard versatility was better suited to Yes than his successor's.

  4. Hace 4 días · Marrying AOR with prog, The Calling is a superb opener, with Anderson at his most strident, Rabin power-chording away like himself and soloing like Steve Howe, and Tony Kaye nodding to Rick Wakeman.

  5. I disagree. Steve Howe was one of Yes’ biggest contributors. Billy Sherwood was also heavily involved with Yes in the 90s, and lastly, Geoff Downes played for Yes in the late 70s and has been playing with the band continuously since 2010/2011 (not completely sure to be honest). So we got 3 people who are huge part of Yes’ history.

  6. Hace 7 horas · Jon Anderson has just left Yes following the Big Generator album and is a year away from the Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe collaboration. He has cited his reasons for leaving this divisive and ‘prog-lite’ version of the band as feeling creatively sidelined and at odds with the direction of the material they were pursuing.
