In addition to Cotton, Gruenling was inspired by blues harp masters Little Walter and George “Harmonica” Smith as well as by saxophonists, including Lester Young and Red Prysock.

One plays rhythm beatbox harmonica while the other takes a solo. They are both playing a standard key of "C" 10-hole diatonic in 2nd Position (which is also known as "Crossharp").

Hace 5 días · 25/05/2024 by Junior Wells 1 Comment. Prompted by the 1974 thread and a play of this record today, if I turn my mind to it there are a no doubt quite a few perfect albums. But this is one of them. The perfect blend of jazz and folk. Joni’s voice still in great nick and not too trilly.
