A better question would be how it's possible to love one and not the other. I've been a Phishhead since my roommates in college introduced me to them in '92. As for the Dead, I've never cared for them even one bit, and their music irritates me.
This is a community of Dead/Phish Headies who refuse to stand on one side or the other. We can potentially have conversations with each other about Dead, or Phish, or both. Everyone will be respectful and peaceful! It's hard to get those two fan bases in one room and expect it to be Civil, but I think we have a real chance to pull it off.
