David Robert Inglis is a contemporary sociologist and academic. Education and career. Inglis earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Cambridge and then went on to complete his Master's and PhD in sociology at the University of York. He has been a sociology professor at the University of Helsinki since 2017.

15 de sept. de 2022 · David Inglis is Professor of Sociology at the University of Helsinki. He holds degrees in sociology from the Universities of Cambridge and York. He is currently chair of the Finnish Sociological Association, the Westermarck Seura.
Dr Inglis research interests lie in microfabrication for medicine and biology. He is well known for work on deterministic lateral displacement separations, and has expertise in a wide range of particle separation techniques, electro-hydrodynamics, and photonics.
