Conflict is an album by alto saxophonist Jimmy Woods' Sextet featuring Elvin Jones, which was recorded in 1963 and released on the Contemporary label.
Carmell Jones (July 19, 1936 – November 7, 1996) was an American jazz trumpet player.
"Conflict" is the second of these and features Woods' well-written original material played by a fascinating sextet. Carmell Jones is on trumpet, Harold Land on tenor sax, Andrew Hill on piano, George Tucker on bass, and Elvin Jones is on drums (and gets a "featuring" credit on the front cover).
