Hace 3 días · He chose On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan, published in 2007. It’s a short book, but we opted for the 4 hour audiobook from the Libby App . Ironically, as a person who wants to be paid for writing, I do love me some free books–especially audio!
Hace 3 días · They spent their time in companionable silence, simply tossing the smooth, rounded stones, seeing how far they could throw them, though not many actually reached the sea, surrounded by the unique and eerie sound of the huge waves breaking on the beach, followed by the sound of the pebbles shifting as the waves went out. It was hypnotising.

Hace 5 días · The total journey distance is about 12 miles. The rewards are excellent village pubs and tea rooms, together with stunning views of the Chesil Beach / Chesil Bank coastline. Alternatively, take the A35 westbound out of West Bay. After about one mile you can turn off to the quiet village and beach of Eype.
