Now, while the movie was a box office success for Lionsgate, it seemed to do way better streaming on Netflix, which is why, even though Lionsgate has already greenlit a second film, Netflix bought a two-film deal for two Knives Out sequels, both written and directed by Rian Johnson.
Hace 4 días · “Knives Out” is bolstered by a terrific ensemble cast, led by Daniel Craig, who plays Benoit Blanc, a private investigator hired by an unknown person to investigate the apparent suicide of Christopher Plummer, who plays Harlan Thrombey, a renowned mystery novelist.
First off, I, like Rian Johnson, hate the "a knives out mystery" part of these titles. If anything, call them "a Benoit Blanc mystery". You wouldn't call the second Harry Potter book "The Chamber of Secrets: a Philosopher's Stone adventure" because the story of the later has nothing to do with the title of the former.
