Favourite guaranteed gun is the Trickshot. It's my go-to weapon on just about every new playthrough. Only problem with it is ammo can be hard to find in early game levels. (actually, it's kinda hard to find even in later game) My Favourite random drop weapon was a legendary Kodama one of my characters got.
