This included the recording of two new Beatles songs built around solo vocal and piano tapes recorded by Lennon as well as lengthy interviews about the Beatles' career.
But the Anthology version is fantastic. I was shocked at how much I was getting into it with the rhythm section being tight as hell and the vocals raw. Ringos drumming is so energetic yet it’s lost in the studio version. Had they mixed/ played as well as the anthology version, I feel like this song could have been held in an even higher regard.
