Hace 1 día · The Pius Fire is burning about 25 miles northeast of Payson. The fire was first reported at around 12:30 p.m. and quickly grew to 400 acres. The fire has caused areas of Bear Canyon and Knoll lakes, along with areas north of Forest Service Road 300, east of Forest Service Road 115, south of Forest Service 225, and west of Forest Service Road 34 are under “GO” evacuation.
