Hace 2 días · I could not help being impregnated by the Soft Machine mood, circa the “Softs” album. Halfway through, the atmosphere becomes psychedelia incarnate, Rob doing his Steve Hillage personation convincingly, more Khan the band than “You”, suffused with a raw energy and a gruff delivery, the merciless sax blowing in delirium. Bloody incredible!
Hace 4 días · It's somewhere between Steve Hillage and The Police at their most energetic. 'Lasisilmä' (= Glass eye) is the first track with vocals. Musically it continues in the same uptempo direction with a faint early 80's Rush vibe to my ears, except for the male vocals and harmonies that come closer to, say, Fish On Friday.

The spitting incident became the starting point for a new concept, which explored the protagonist's self-imposed isolation after years of traumatic interactions with authority figures and the loss of his father as a child.
