Adam Rudolph (born September 12, 1955) is a jazz composer and percussionist performing in the post-bop and world fusion media. [1] In 1988, Rudolph met jazz musician Yusef Lateef, and the two would go on to collaborate and perform together for the next 25 years. [2] [3]
For the past four decades composer, improviser and percussionist Adam Rudolph has performed extensively in concert throughout North & South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Rudolph has been hailed as "a pioneer in world music" by the NY Times and "a master percussionist" by Musician magazine.

Originally from Chicago, composer and handrummer/percussionist Adam Rudolph has, for the past three decades, appeared at festivals and concerts throughout North & South America, Europe, Africa, and Japan. In 1988 Rudolph began his association with the legendary Yusef Lateef.

He has collaborated with mentors like Don Cherry and Yusef Lateef, and is a member of both Carlos Niño ’s L.A. collective Build An Ark as well as Hu Vibrational, which features Niño and Hamid Drake.
