If for any reason a student is absent then Parents/Carers are requested to phone the Attendance Officer (020 8772 2549) on the first day of absence and, if the absence is for more than one day, either phone again or send a note in when the student returns to school. That does not mean Chestnut Grove isn't good. The teaching may be as good as or even better but that is never very apparent to parents.
