This tree-lined avenue is in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France, running from the Cirque d’Hiver to the River Seine.The name refers to the medieval philosopher and theologian Peter Abélard (1079–1142).
Personally, I had two reasons. to visit this avenue. The Dior Gallery (museum, located on the adjoining street - 11 rue Francois 1er), which I highly recommend especially for women, and the Hotel Plaza Athenee, which has a history of visiting celebrities of all times and nations, as well as seeing its magnificent courtyard, located just on Avenue Montaigne.
