O monte Roraima é um monte localizado na América do Sul, na tríplice fronteira entre Brasil, Venezuela e Guiana.Constitui um tepui, um tipo de monte em formato de mesa bastante característico do planalto das Guianas.Delimitado por falésias de cerca de 1 000 metros de altura, seu planalto apresenta um ambiente totalmente diferente da floresta tropical e da savana que se estende a seus pés.

15 de jun. de 2020 · The flat top of the mountain is a massive 31-square-kilometer area defined by 400-meter-tall cliffs dropping down on all sides. Hiking through the Gran Sabana in Venezuela it takes two to three days to summit Mount Roraima. There is no trail on the Guyana or Brazil side and the sheer cliffs can only be scaled by the most experienced climbers.

The mountains of this range are some of the oldest geological formations, some dating back to two billion years ago. A tepui is a table top mountain and in the native language, means ‘house of Gods’.
