He reprised this role in five subsequent Star Wars video games. Lloyd is also known for his recurring roles as Jimmy Sweet in ER, and Young Angelo in The Pretender.

Directed by George Lucas, the movie became the second-highest-grossing film worldwide at the box office, behind only "Titanic (1997)."
Jake Lloyd won the role of young Anakin Skywalker over hundreds of kids who auditioned for the part. Writer, creator, and director George Lucas had three requirements for a potential young Anakin, those being: “a good actor, enthusiastic, and very energetic.”. Lloyd hit those marks in Lucas’s eyes and the other producers of the movie agreed.
