I know this thread is old, but I’m in a rewatch and THIS!!! It’s like they’re retconning Jo and Jake every episode. Sometimes more than once an episode. They are both all over the place like different writers are responsible for each of their scenes and are constantly changing their motivations and backstories.
Storylines. During its first season, Melrose Place was an earnest serial drama with low-key storylines focusing on young people who come to Los Angeles to realize their dreams.
