Gattaca se sice tváří na první pohled jako nějaký strašně "chytrý" sci-fi, ale v podstatě je to akorát ohranej příběh o tom, že i ten největší outsider si může nakonec splnit svůj sen, když se bude hodně snažit. Ta myšlenka s geneticky upravenejma lidma je celkem zajímavá, ale jinak na tom filmu nic zvláštního nevidim.
