doskey.exe has nothing to do with cmd.exe. It sets an alias for the current or a specified executable in the console window, which is hosted by an instance of conhost.exe. Console aliases are matched and substituted at the beginning of a line of input before the client application (e.g. cmd.exe or powershell.exe) reads the line.

2 parts. first set some working directories, using a batch file. let's say localprofile.cmd. You can have multiple ones of these, just run them as needed. set wd1=D:\home\work\fb440.dumper. set wd2=D:\home\work\py\tests. now use another command file to move around, based on those environment variables you just set.

19 de jul. de 2017 · I was thinking about adding a script to .bashrc that would go over path variable and search for .exe files in every path specified in the path variable and add an alias for every occurance, but it does not seem to be a very clean solution (but I guess it would serve its purpose quite well).
10 de jun. de 2014 · To create a new alias, use the New-Alias cmdlet. No surprise there. All you need is the name of your new alias and the command that it will reference. PS C:\> new-alias np notepad.exe If the alias already exists, you will get an error, unless you use –Force. Or you can use Set-Alias. If the alias already exists it will be modified.
