22 de oct. de 2019 · Probably the best version of the Irish traditional song “Whiskey in the Jar” was made by Thin Lizzy. The single released in 1972 first gained wide exposure when the Irish folk band The Dubliners performed it internationally as a signature song, and recorded it on three albums in the 1960s.
Dedication: The Very Best of Thin Lizzy is a compilation album released by rock group Thin Lizzy in 1991. The only previously unreleased track was "Dedication", which was reconstructed after band leader Phil Lynott's death, using an old 8 track demo recording of a Grand Slam song originally recorded around 1985 and written by guitarist Laurence Archer.

27 de ene. de 2024 · From the original Thin Lizzy album, recorded at Decca Studios in West Hampstead. It was a song we really struggled with when we were first rehearsing the album in Dublin, then we went to London to record, by which time we had the song’s outline well worked out, from start to finish, and it came together pretty quickly.
