El objetivo de este nuevo diseño era hacer un logo más entendible, pero que no perdiera la esencia de Disney. Como resultado, la marca volvió a un estilo muy similar que el de 1937 pero más claro y nítido.

1985 – 2006. In the mid-1980s, the logo’s evolution embraced a new dimension by adding a graphical element above the “Walt Disney” text – a majestic castle. This fairy-tale inspired icon was rendered in a series of horizontal stripes enclosed within a robust arch, each tower crowned with a distinct triangular flag.

The present Walt Disney Company logo design was introduced by the company in 2011. It is an abbreviated version of the previous designs, where there’s only one wordmark “Disney”.
The current Walt Disney logo is incredibly impressive in its detail, displaying Cinderella’s castle in all its splendor, complete with balconies, towers, windows, and a moat. Yet again, when animated, this logo shows the advances Disney has made in animation and touts the technological capabilities of the company.
