Badfinger foi uma banda britânica de power pop, considerada uma das mais promissoras bandas de rock do final dos anos 1960, fazendo parte do selo Apple [1].Experimentou o gosto do sucesso tanto na Inglaterra quanto nos Estados Unidos, mais até do que muitas outras bandas ousaram sonhar.Até 1969 chamava-se The Iveys, bem como uma das canções do álbum lançado naquele ano.
