7 de mar. de 2021 · The Salvation Army Ottawa Booth Centre’s Community and Family Services is open and available to support those in need with food and clothing. While the shelter is currently under quarantine protocols and not accepting new residents, the Community and Family Services supports never shut its doors, though no one other than staff is permitted into the building.
21 de nov. de 2023 · Last year, The Salvation Army was a beacon of light for 87,000 people in Ottawa. Functioning partly as a men’s emergency shelter, the Booth Centre provides 168 beds, plus an additional 30 beds, as part of their special care unit, in partnership with Ottawa Inner City Health Inc., for those with complex health needs.
21 de jul. de 2022 · The Salvation Army Outreach Services Team at the Ottawa Booth Centre is out in full force serving those in need on the streets of Ottawa. The branded Salvation Army Outreach vans bring clothing, water, sunscreen, snacks and PPE to those who are most vulnerable.

The Salvation Army’s Ottawa Booth Centre (OBC) has partnered with CTV-Ottawa for 24 years hosting the Toy Mountain Christmas Campaign. The Salvation Army oversees the collection and distribution of new unwrapped toys to over 7,500 underprivileged families in the Ottawa area annually. The Salvation Army organizes the Toy Mountain event.
We provide transportation services from 11:00 a.m. to 03:00 a.m., seven days a week. We work longer hours during extreme weather conditions.
