The Single Factor is the ninth studio album by English progressive rock band Camel recorded January–February 1982 and released in May 6, 1982. The album was essentially a contractual obligation album, created under pressure from Decca to produce a hit single, and the "made-to-order" nature of its composition resulted in a selection of songs described as "odd" on the band's official website.
24 de feb. de 2019 · Above all else, "The Single Factor" goes to show how negative circumstances surrounding an artist can lead to very stale music. Every member except Latimer had left Camel, and he was essentially forced to make this due to a contractional obligation.
