La disputa del Santísimo Sacramento. Símbolo de la Verdad revelada, la Disputa del Sacramento se podría llamar mejor el Triunfo de la Iglesia o de la Fe. Efectivamente, Rafael ilustra allí la Verdad suprema: Dios, contemplado en el cielo en la visión beatífica y adorado por la Fe en la tierra, bajo la especie de la Hostia consagrada.

It was painted between 1509 and 1510 [1] as the first part of Raphael's commission to decorate with frescoes the rooms that are now known as the Stanze di Raffaello, in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican.
