Over the course of two weeks of filming in April 2014, the crew covered areas outside of Abu Dhabi in the Liwa Desert, as well as in the city center itself at such locations as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace hotel (a former royal palace), Etihad Towers and the Yas Marina.
