Knight Rider is een Amerikaanse televisieserie uit de jaren 80 met David Hasselhoff in de gedaante van Michael Knight die samen met zijn technisch zeer geavanceerde kunstmatig intelligente auto genaamd KITT de misdaad bestrijdt. De serie bestond uit 90 afleveringen van elk 45 minuten, die in Nederland door de TROS zijn uitgezonden. Naast de serie verschenen er ook televisiefilms.
