Eric Carr, de son vrai nom Paul Charles Caravello, né le 12 juillet 1950 à Brooklyn ( New York) et mort le 24 novembre 1991 à New York, est un musicien américain, connu pour avoir été le batteur du groupe de hard rock américain Kiss, après que Peter Criss eut quitté le groupe en 1980. Il resta membre du groupe jusqu'à sa mort en 1991.
ERIC CARR. THE LIFE OF A LEGEND. HOW IT ALL BEGAN. Born as Paul Charles Caravello on July 12, 1950, to Albert and Connie Caravello, Carr was of Italian descent. He grew up in the East New York section of Brooklyn in New York City. Paul attended the High School of Art and Design. He majored in photography, but later decided to become a cartoonist.

Eric was the musician that replaced Peter Criss on the group. His first album with the band was Music For The Elder (1981). Carr was a self-taught drummer and also played guitar, drums, bass and piano.
