On October 9, 2007, the lead singer/songwriter for indie favorites Guided by Voices released two albums simultaneously on the Merge label, Standard Gargoyle Decisions and Coast to Coast Carpet of Love.Both have since fallen out of print, prompting Pollard to distill songs from both albums into one new collection.
