To say it’s her most personal record is an understatement, it’s one of the most personal records ever. It captures Eszter’s immigrant experience in particular but also the universal experience anyone has when coming to a new city.
Eszter Balint. Actress: Stranger Than Paradise. Eszter Balint (born in Budapest , Hungary) grew up as a member of the avant-garde theatre company Squat Theatre in New York. She has appeared in starring and featured roles in films by Jim Jarmusch, Woody Allen, Steve Buscemi, alongside David Bowie, and in Louis CK's FX TV show Louie, among others.

She first gained wide exposure playing Eva in the Jim Jarmusch classic film Stranger Than Paradise. She was also featured in Steve Buscemi’s Trees Lounge, and she worked alongside Mia Farrow and John Malkovich in Woody Allen’s Shadows and Fog.
