Gavin Friday (geboren als Fionán Martin Hanvey, Dublin, 8 oktober 1959) is een Ierse zanger, componist en schilder. Hij werkt sinds 1986 als soloartiest, maar was daarvoor samen met Derek Rowen , aka Guggi, bekend als een van de twee zangers van de postpunk groep Virgin Prunes die ontstond uit de jongensclub Lypton Village , waaruit ook U2 voortkwam.
