Cheap Trick est un groupe américain de hard rock, originaire de Rockford, dans l'Illinois.Il connait un succès important à la fin des années 1970, particulièrement au Japon et obtient son plus grand succès avec l’album live Cheap Trick at Budokan en 1979.Il est souvent décrit musicalement comme un mélange de mélodies pop influence Beatles et de guitares hard rock.

Cheap Trick is een Amerikaanse rockband uit Rockford (Illinois), die eind jaren 1970 kortstondig een vrij grote bekendheid genoot. De huidige bezetting van de band is Rick Nielsen (gitaar, zang, belangrijkste songwriter), Robin Zander (leadzanger, rythmgitaar), Tom Petersson (bassist, zanger) en Daxx Nielsen (drummer, zoon van Rick).
