7 de jul. de 2016 · Posted July 7, 2016. Hi All, When my GF is driving her Mk4 with the windows open a smell of petrol enters the car. Upon investigation the smell seems to come from the filler area but not the filler itself. I cannot see any evidence of a leak anywhere and the exhaust does not seem to be blowing.

But my son followed me and he said he could smell petrol now I'm worried again so next stop garage although it was looked at before and no problem found 🤔any ideas folks ...
That grass smell is a distress signal from screaming grass being sliced up. That knowledge kinda ruined it for me! it smells great. While headache inducing, it smells fucking great. In australia aboriginals are stereotyped to love the smell of petrol. They apparently call it sniff.

18 de oct. de 2005 · Hi folks, Recently bought my Leon 1.6S 02-reg and there's a faint but noticeable whiff of petrol in the cabin every time I draw to a halt, say at traffic lights or similar. It's definitely petrol but with a bit of a 'marzipan' type of edge to it. It disappears just as quick on pulling away again, so I was just wondering if this is common to the Leon or symptomatic of something wrong.
