8 de mar. de 2005 · "Incident at Blood Pass" (Japanese title "Machibuse" or "Ambush") is a fun but not outstanding Samurai flick. The main draw is the star cast of Toshiro Mifune ("Yojimbo") and Shintaro Katsu ("Gentetsu"), who is best known for playing the blind fighter Zatoichi.
It was released by Toho International in the United States with English subtitles as The Ambush on December 18, 1970. [1] The film was re-issued in 1971 under the title Machibuse. [1] It is also known in English as Incident at Blood Pass . Actors Toshiro Mifune and Shintaro Katsu performed in movies produced by each other.
