Kathleen Esther (née Garman), Lady Epstein (1901-1979), Second wife of Sir Jacob Epstein; co-founder of the Garman Ryan Collection. Sitter in 4 portraits Kathleen Garman and her sisters were prominent figures in London's Bloomsbury circle. She became Jacob Epstein's second wife in June 1954, soon after the sculptor had been awarded a knighthood.
