Eddie Jones did not select the veteran prop after England’s Rugby World Cup final defeat to South Africa, but he was recalled to the Test team in Steve Borthwick’s maiden squad of 2023.

Dane Stuart Coles (born 10 December 1986) is a New Zealand professional rugby union player who plays as a hooker for Japan Rugby League One club Kubota Spears and previously for the New Zealand national team. Coles was a key member of the 2015 Rugby World Cup winning team.
