Gillian Louise Kearney (born 9th May 1972) is an English who appeared in Emmerdale as Emma Barton between January 2015 and October 2017. She has also appeared in Channel 4 soap Brookside as Debbie McGrath as well as minor roles in Casualty, Silent Witness and Midsomer Murders amongst others.
Gillian played a series regular Emma Barton on ITV's award-winning soap, Emmerdale. The series has won Best Soap for the British Soap Awards 2017, as well as Most Popular Serial Drama at the National Television Awards.
