Now, 2008 brings a second full-length from Hotel Lights. Firecracker People has Jessee again working with producer/guitarist Alan Weatherhead (Sparklehorse, Camper van Beethoven).
Hotel Lights' sophomore effort, Firecracker People, was released on Bar/None in August of 2008. The band released Girl Graffiti, featuring the single "Falling Down," in 2011. That same year Ben Folds Five unexpectedly reunited for 2012's The Sound of the Life of the Mind and a subsequent world tour and live album.
And Hotel Lights' first three albums – Hotel Lights (Bar/None 2006), Firecracker People (Bar/None 2008), and Girl Graffiti (Bar/None 2011) – each received great critical acclaim and saw their songs placed in a variety of popular films, TV programs, and international advertising campaigns.
