1 de feb. de 2023 · Floyd Chester Sneed, 80, original drummer of Three Dog Night, has passed with family by his side on Friday, January 27th, 2023 after battling several health issues. Floyd was born on November 22, 1942 to Willa Sneed (née Carothers) and Napoleon Sneed in Calgary, Alberta, one of the first black families in that province after settling in Amber Valley.

Floyd Sneed. Actor: Far Out Man. Drummer Floyd Sneed was born on November 22, 1943 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has a sister named Maxine Sneed and a brother named Bernie Sneed. His parents were both musicians at their local church. Floyd originally planned on being a soccer player, but ultimately decided to become a drummer, instead (his first drum kit was a gift from his sister, Maxine).
