But she had a kind of side to her that would just flip at a moment’s notice. And from being the most urbane, sociable person, she’d be locked in a bedroom screaming.

Mainstream 80s politics and culture had spawned a 60s-referencing inverse, a flux of disenfranchised youth, searching back in time for a sense of freedom and opportunity in their lifestyle once again.
