Professor Axel Zeitler. Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. The College’s vibrant community comprises of around 850 undergraduates and graduate students, 110 Fellows and academic staff, and almost 200 staff members. Our students come from all over the world and our undergraduates study all the subjects offered in the University.
To study psychology is to study the human brain, because the brain is the organ that underlies all our behaviour and mental experiences. The brain is an information-processing system, and no man-made system can match its remarkable abilities. But Psychology is not simply about reducing behavioural and mental phenomena to neurophysiology.
The Library is open to Caius members from 7am to 1am every day. Information for current students about Library services can be found on the Library's section of the College intranet, The Venn. The railway station is located one kilometre south of the city centre. From there you will need to take either a taxi or a bus to Caius. Visiting Caius. The College is closed to general visitors on weekdays during term. Members and others with business in the College will still be able to access the College via the Porters’ Lodge, but please arrange visits in advance. Prospective applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate study are very welcome to visit the College at any time.
Philosophy at Caius. Caius admits between two and four Philosophy students a year. This provides students with a high level of individual attention and support, and forges a close relationship between students studying the subject in first, second and third year.
