In early 2001, Eric was a founding member of the band, Bagneo. Bagneo had great success in the Denver music scene from 2001 to 2004, releasing one studio album and two live albums, but never made it nationally. Eric later was a founding member of bands Tangleleg and Sierra Hotel, both of which played shows throughout Colorado.
